Hey y'all! It was good seeing you again in Oxford, Mississippi. I was thrilled to be able to introduce my kids to you. As I told you, I teach at South-Doyle High School in South Knoxville, but, like Michol, many of my family, including my children, are in Northeast Mississippi/Northwest Alabama. Since we were all "back home" for a family funeral, I took the opportunity to bring the kids and my brother to meet you. We truly enjoyed talking with you, and the show was awesome. Hope to see you at Brackin's soon. We may be in Myrtle Beach at the same time as y'all--it's like we're following each other around the Southeastern US! If so, we will see you there, too! That would be a great surprise for my husband's birthday. Again, loved the show--

I was lucky enough to catch all three shows and Bristol Rhythm and Roots and as usual you guys totally blew me away. The highlight of the weekend was Sunday morning, with Michelle Malone stepping in on the harp. That was just incredible!! Your bass player summed it up best when I was talking to him after the show. He said "what we just did was probably illegal on Sunday"!! Keep on rockin' BMT!!! WE LOVE YOU!!!

I enjoyed your concert so much at Dogwood Park in Cookeville, TN on June 20, 2010. Your songs touched my heart and embraced my soul.
I took several photos during your performance and have posted an album on my Facebook page. I also ordered a few of your cd's online...If I had brought cash to the concert I would have picked a couple up for my drive to VA this weekend.
I want to thank you again for posing with my husband, Bruce. He recently lost his right kidney to cancer and then his job to budget cuts so as you can imagine he's feeling a little blue at the moment. In fact, I had a difficult time getting him out of the house but after the concert he thanked me several times for a lovely afternoon. Thanks for making my guy smile again.

I saw y'all for the first time tonight at the Lyric in Loudon, TN. Thanks, Michol, for signing my t-shirt. I'm serious--I'm going to buy a tamborine tomorrow! I teach 9th grade English at South Doyle High School in South Knoxville, and can't wait to use your songs to help my kids learn poetry--rhythm, rhyme, "the hook" and meter--recorded by someone who grew up so close to where these kids are growing up in South Knoxville. I told Ricky, I grew up near Tupelo, Mississippi, and knew you must have lived in my home state to have written those songs. I felt as if you were telling my stories--especially when you sang about Highway 61 and Beale Street. I had an aunt who lived in Memphis, and spent a lot of time walking around down on Beale when they were doing the original rejuvenation in the 80's. I really did enjoy your show. My husband and his brother laughed at me for buying a shirt and a cd--they said I'm a true fan. Thanks for a great evening! I look forward to seeing y'all again soon.
