Big Beach Brewing Company is the southernmost brewery in Alabama located in the heart of Gulf Shores. Their 10 barrel brewing system is exclusively dedicated to brewing and serving all kinds of ales from IPAs and Stouts to Cream Ales and Belgian style beers. They have six fermenters in which they are able to produce enough beers to present up to 12 beers on tap at a time. Big Beach Brewing Compay prides themselves on having a "tank to tap" operation. Tank to tap essentially means that instead of running draught lines from kegs, they’ve got a eight beautiful 300 gallon vessels behind their bar on display that tenderly hold the beer to ensure it is the freshest beer around. Big Beach Brewing brews what they like, and they hope you'll like it too!

Music is a common ground for all kinds of folks and that’s why The Down Home’s “come as you are” atmosphere has truly been a treasured place to so many people. Established in 1976 to provide a listening, intimate setting for a wide range of artists, from Townes Van Zandt to Willie Dixon to Robin and Linda Williams. The Down Home has featured theater, political rally’s, writers series, poetry slams, all night parties. Come as soon as the doors open and enjoy the ambience of a room surrounded in oak wood. Nashville’s Music Community Supports Alive, Middle Tennessee’s Only Nonprofit Hospice!

The Bluebird Cafe and Alive, the only nonprofit provider of hospice care and end-of-life services for Middle Tennessee, today announced its annual benefit concert series. Alive at the Bluebird, returns on Wednesday, January 2, 2019, for its 26th year. Featured artists include Jason Isbell, Amanda Shires, Charles Esten, Vince Gill, Amy Grant, Pat Alger, Kathy Mattea, Kent Blazy, Steve Wariner, The Warren Brothers, and Victoria Shaw ... oh, & BMT - Mindy Smith - Will Kimbrough - Walker Hayes, too!

All proceeds from the month-long series are donated to Alive, a nonprofit hospice that provides education and grief counseling to the community and financial assistance to hospice patients when insurance doesn’t cover everything.

Back in Ricky's teenage years, he & friends used to drop-in to Roy's Record shop in downtown Maryville to peruse the music instruments, records, shoot the breeze with the locals and even looked in amazement at Hank Williams, Sr.'s overcoat that used to hang at the old shop. Barley's in the heart of downtown Maryville at 128 Broadway is located in the former Roy’s Records building, Barley’s is excited to offer great food, live music and the best draft beer selection in town. Their menu features pub favorites such as hand-battered chicken tenders, juicy burgers, southwestern wraps and fresh salads in addition to changing daily specials and an incredible selection of customizable, unique pizzas. With 70 beers on tap and even more in the bottle, you’d be hard pressed to find a better selection of hoppy, malted goodness anywhere in town. With daily drink specials including half price pints on Monday and half price wine bottles until 10PM on Saturday, there’s certain to be a perfect day (or two or seven) this week to join us for a meal, a drink or both!
